Russian wine producers claim that residents of the country may not worry about raising champagne prices before the New Year holidays. However, next year the cost of “sparkling” can grow significantly - this is all due to the low grape harvest in Europe this year.
“Yes, a price increase in 2019 is a likely situation,” Russian winemakers say. “Because we partially use foreign raw materials in our production, so the very production of sparkling wine will become more expensive.”
