The company "Western Bug" from Radekhov district of Lviv region has already collected soybeans from 31 pilot plots.
This year, it was possible to cope with the harvest in the experimental plots faster, since the weighing took place directly in the field, company representatives said.
In particular, this was made possible thanks to the use of the Haul Master grain trailer, which is equipped with a weighing and data management system based on Libra Cart tablets and smartphones.
It is noted that this year the “Western Bug” cultivated varieties of Canadian, Austrian, French and German breeds with different ripeness groups in experimental plots, in particular from 2350 to 2650 CHU.
“At the moment, we are working on the results, as well as determining the quality indicators of each of the varieties,” the company noted. Earlier it was reported that the Western Bug company expects to receive at least 2.7 tons / ha. soybeans.
For information, as of April 1, 2019, soybean reserves in Ukraine were equal to 1.6 million tons, which was a record high and exceeded the data for the previous year by 600 thousand tons. This was reported by the expert of the oil market of the company "Ukragroconsult" Yulia Garkavenko.
