Residents of the Russian Federation involved in work in rural areas have every chance that the duration of their working day will increase significantly.
Today this issue is being considered by experts from the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Agriculture. On the agenda is the question of whether it is advisable to increase the working hours of domestic rural women from 36 hours to 40 per week. It is a fact that women are paid full wages, despite the fact that the time they work differs from the work schedule of most city dwellers (4 hours less).
It is noteworthy that the shortened working day of residents of Russian villages and villages is due to the decision of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, which was adopted in November 1990. We are talking about document No. 298 / 3-1, which refers to urgent measures to improve the status of women, the family, and maternal health in the countryside. According to specialists from the Russian Ministry of Labor, today they are working on the issue of canceling this decision or amending it.It will not be superfluous to note that this initiative did not appeal to residents of villages and villages. In particular, the alarm was sounded by members of the trade union committee of agricultural workers. They are convinced that women involved in the implementation of agricultural work should have more time to do household work in living conditions outside the city.
And what about the abolition of benefits (including those related to the length of working time) it is advisable to speak only when the quality of life in the village will be qualitatively changed for the better. Note that today in the processes associated with farming and farming, about 12.9 million Russians are taking part.
