A wind farm will be built in the village of Aleksandrovka, Belozersky district, Kherson region. The object will be called LLC Dnepro-Bug Wind Farm.
The wind farm will have a capacity of 110 MW and consist of 25 turbines, the press service of the Regional State Administration of Kherson Region said.
The planned volume of attracted investment funds for construction is 165 million. Two foreign companies - French Akuo Energy and Belgian Greenworx Holding, leaders in the field of renewable energy, acted as investors. They develop, finance, build and operate such power plants.The operation of the wind power plant will increase the amount of revenues to the local budget, help to implement social projects for residents of the village and the region, will provide 40 new jobs. Recall that the first wind farm in Western Ukraine was commissioned in 2015 near the city of Old Sambir, in the Eastern Carpathians .
