Lower air temperatures and a massive shift to an imported product triggered higher prices for chives, dill and parsley on Ukrainian shelves.
In just a few days, parsley in the wholesale markets went up by almost 15 percent. The same can be said about dill, despite the fact that only a week ago it was actively cheaper.
“Now a kilogram of parsley costs about one and a half dollars,” analysts say. “Parsley costs the same.” A kilogram of cilantro will cost almost three dollars. ”

“More and more actively, the Ukrainian consumer is paying attention to mint, basil, leaf and head salads, as well as tarragon and arugula,” analysts say. “To satisfy the demand of Ukrainians, imported greens are allowed, as domestic suppliers focus mainly on parsley, dill and green onions.”
