“Now a kilogram of parsley costs about one and a half dollars,” analysts say. “Parsley costs the same.” A kilogram of cilantro will cost almost three dollars. ”

The main supplier of greens to the Ukrainian market is Georgia. Despite the fact that their country also has an obvious increase in prices for greens, Georgian farmers export parsley, cilantro and dill at affordable prices: parsley - half a dollar per kilo, 80 cents per kilogram of dill and $ 0.7 per kilogram of cilantro (which, By the way, it is in the least demand on the greens market among Ukrainians).

“More and more actively, the Ukrainian consumer is paying attention to mint, basil, leaf and head salads, as well as tarragon and arugula,” analysts say. “To satisfy the demand of Ukrainians, imported greens are allowed, as domestic suppliers focus mainly on parsley, dill and green onions.”
