On September 18, the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business Association and UCABevent Agency held the X International Conference “Effective Management of Agricultural Companies” (LFM) - event number 1 in Europe in the field of agro. In the innovative business park Terminal Z, the LFM conference was attended by over 500 representatives of top management and agribusiness specialists.
This year, speakers from Australia, the USA, Germany, Great Britain and Croatia shared unique experience and practical advice. The topic of presentations covered the hot problems of our time: changing the culture of consumption, introducing innovations in agribusiness and attracting generation Z to the village.
Among the speakers this year were: Professor of California University Richard J. Sexton, Australian farmer Brad Jones, member of the executive team of BASF Agricultural Solutions Tobias Menne, President of UBC Group Igor Gumenny and others.
During the conference, special attention was paid to the main consumer trend - organic products. In this regard, experts such as Anastasia Bilich (Arnika agricultural group), Natalie Alker (Danon Ukraine), Petr Melnik (Agricom Group) and Andriy Vdovichenko (Asnova Holding) shared their authoritative opinions. The discussion was moderated by the president of UCAB, Alex Lissitsa.
Experts from all over the world gathered to participate in the X International Conference “Effective Management of Agricultural Companies” to discuss the challenges for modern agribusiness, as well as the opportunities and challenges that digitalization will bring.
During the dialogue “The largest monitoring digitalization project in the Ukrainian agricultural holding”, we discussed the use of digital technologies for monitoring crops in large agricultural holdings, solutions for the automation of agricultural monitoring and the production, economic feasibility of using such solutions in the realities of Ukrainian agricultural business.
