Researchers at the Biological Academy at Southern Federal University delighted the public: they found a way to extend the reproductive functions of chickens.

Slowing the reproductive aging of birds is possible if special ingredients are added to the chicken feed. These are probiotic bacteria, which Russian researchers added to the compound feed. Bacteria "shared" with chicken food special elements that protect bird DNA from wear and tear.

“We worked on this project for about three years,” say the developers of the unique supplement. “And yet they were able to prove that the antioxidants from the probiotic supplement not only stimulate the growth of birds, but also increase their ability to lay eggs and delay the reproductive aging of laying hens for some time.”

According to scientists, it will be possible to produce such an unusually useful supplement to chicken feed using almost any Russian poultry farm.
