In the United States this year, a record low corn crop may be recorded.
According to experts from the reputable AccuWeather news service, which specializes in analyzing the US agroindustrial situation, this season American farmers can harvest nine and a half percent less corn than a year earlier.
“Presumably, US farmers will not be able to get a corn crop that will exceed thirteen billion seven hundred million bushels (one bushel is equal to thirty-five and a half liters).
And this figure is almost six percent lower than those forecasts recently shared by analysts from the United States Department of Agriculture, AccuWeather experts are convinced. - In our opinion, in 2019 the volume of corn grown will be so low that it will break the records of a lean year 2012.
Analysts also hastened to note that this year the rates of grain and leguminous production in the United States are forecast to decrease, because this year the sowing campaign in most agricultural territories of the country was later than usual.
In addition, weather forecasters predict early autumn frosts in some regions of the United States, which can also contribute to the ripening process and yield level.
It will not be superfluous to note that this year, American farmers can get a record low (since 2013) soybeans yield - experts admit that in this case the yield indicator will not exceed three billion nine hundred million bushels.
