Most of all among the vegetables of the borsch set of the harvest of 2018, the value of white cabbage increased over the past weekend.

Behind it are carrots, and the top three is closed by beetroot, which has updated the price record for the years of independent Ukraine, shares the information “Info-Shuvar”. The price of white cabbage in wholesale increased by 30% - up to 25-30 UAH / kg. So, today cabbage has become the most expensive vegetable that is part of the Ukrainian borsch.

Over the weekend, the price of carrots jumped by at least 20% - up to 12-18 UAH / kg. Even low quality carrots today cannot be called cheap. For it in the markets they ask 8-10 UAH / kg. The dew rates and table beet prices are not slowing down, which increased by 5% and reached the level of 10-15 UAH / kg this Monday.

Meanwhile, potato and onion prices fell slightly. So, over the past weekend on the wholesale markets of Ukraine, onion prices decreased by 5% to 22-27 UAH / kg. Prices for potatoes, over the same period, decreased by 11% to 5.5-8.5 UAH / kg.

Earlier it was reported that imported new potato crops in Kiev markets are sold at a record high price, reaching up to 70 UAH / kg. Soon, the sale of locally produced young potatoes is expected.
