In 2019, in the territories of the greenhouse complexes of the Moscow Region, employees involved in the cultivation of various crops in closed ground conditions intend to harvest a generous crop of at least eighty thousand tons.
We are talking about harvest forecasts for fresh vegetables. And here it should be noted that the declared figure exceeds the “yield” indicator of 2018 by as much as twenty thousand tons.
Note that last year, agrarians of the Moscow region managed to collect more than sixty-three thousand tons of various types of vegetables from greenhouses.
Such information was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. According to them, at the moment, the "greenhouses" of the region have already managed to collect at least thirty thousand cucumbers, tomatoes and other crops growing in closed ground.
According to analysts, for this period, the figure is impressive, given the experience of previous years. For clarity, we note that the 2018 harvest from the greenhouses of the Moscow region allowed the farmers to fully supply their region with tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini and other types of greenhouse products.
