The National Agricultural Sector Service will cease to provide its services due to the state of emergency in connection with COVID 19. The Bureau recommends using a telephone or email to contact specialists in order to receive the necessary information and recommendations.
In the framework of the measure “Starting assistance for the development of small farms” in 2014-2020. The National Agricultural Advisory Service prepares free business plans for applying to farmers.
This measure is needed to support projects in the livestock sector. Their implementation will contribute to increased biosafety, as well as economic development and the strengthening of small farms. In addition to projects in the livestock sector (sheep, goats, pigs and poultry), priority will also be given to the following farmers:
- whose animals were killed as a result of African swine fever, small ruminant plague and bird flu;
- whose farms are located in the highlands;
- on whose agricultural lands are outbreaks of disease;
- with education in veterinary medicine and animal husbandry.
The pupils of goats are very unusual - they are narrow, not round, but horizontal, but not vertical. This provides them with excellent visibility of more than 300 degrees.
- As of December 1, 2019, there were 1.35 million heads of sheep and goats in Ukraine, which is 3.6% less than on the same date in 2018.
- Residents of the village of Bogdanovka, Kakhovka district, Kherson region complain about local farmer Igor Kondrat, because he bought pastures around the village, where people grazed cows and built a sheep farm in the middle of the village.
- According to reports from The Economic Times, Flipkart, based in Bengaluru, has released a pilot project that involves delivering fresh agricultural produce to Hyderabad.
