Over the past 3 months in the Dnipropetrovsk region three owners of large agricultural enterprises have mysteriously died. Relatives of the victims told Ivan Slobodianik about this chapter of the Agro-Food Council.

“What is happening in the Dnipropetrovsk region is difficult to describe in words. This crime organized by local criminal groups, which are most likely connected with local authorities. Over the last quarter, 3 murders, with very similar features of the organization of crimes, ”said Ivan Slobodyanik.

He said that in all cases, criminals act according to one algorithm: they find an enterprise with 4-5 thousand hectares of land, re-register through fake registrars and using fake documents, and they kill the rightful owners by pretending to be suicide or an accident.

So, in the village of Popasnoe, Dnipropetrovsk region, after the illegal re-registration of the enterprise, its head was found hanged. Prior to this, he was offered to sell the company under the threat of raider seizure. An audio recording of this conversation was presented by the mother-in-law of the deceased. After some time, her body was found in the pool of her own house.

A similar tragedy occurred in the village of Novopavlovka on the border with the Donetsk region. On June 10, the owner of a large agricultural enterprise was found at home with a fatal gunshot wound and weapons in their hands, but they did not find any shell casings at the crime scene. A month later, on July 10, after re-registration, the company acquired a new owner.

The Chairman of the Agro-Food Rada appealed to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and future deputies of Ukraine with a call to take the investigation under his personal control and achieve fair punishment for those responsible.
