Mass bee death was recorded by beekeepers in the Izyumsky district of Kharkov region. The apiaries suffered great losses in the villages of Vodorezovka, Nikolaevka, Komarovka and others, where a significant number of honey bees died.
According to experts, farmers who used pesticides in their fields to control pests could provoke mass death of insects.
Local law enforcement officers, along with the relevant veterinary services, check the places of bee death. As it became known, on the eve of the farmers in the region treated their fields with KAS-28, and also fed crops with microfertilizers "Oracle", "Bor", "Zinc" and others .
It is noteworthy that at the same time in 2018 the same incidents were recorded in the Bogodukhovsky and Zolochevsky districts of the Kharkov region.
Earlier it was reported that in the Romny district of Sumy region, the beekeeper, faced with the mass death of bees, blamed the local farmers for processing the fields in the evening.
The beekeeper turned to the police, and the agricultural company submitted documents according to which the drugs used for processing crops do not pose a danger to bees.
