The Eco-Farmer agricultural cooperative is known in the Kaliningrad Region for its high-quality meat products and is rightfully considered the leader in the production of farm goods in the North-West Federal District of Russia. However, farmers from Kaliningrad are not going to stop there. On the contrary, strengthening their leadership positions, the cooperative's employees launched the new production line.
We are talking about making pastes and sausages from duck meat, as well as the production of foie gras delicacy (duck fat liver, which provides a special diet and keeping ducks on the farm; it is considered a real delicacy in French and other high cuisines of the world).
“None of the enterprises in our industry in the entire okrug can boast the release of foie gras,” the cooperative proudly notes. “But we took a chance and could!”
It will be fair to say that Eco-Farmer could not manage on its own - subsidies from the regional government became a good help. Their size amounted to about nineteen million rubles, which the cooperative spent on the purchase of equipment for meat processing.
“We intend to provide residents of our region and the whole country with high-quality organic products,” the cooperative workers share their plans. - Now the capacity of our enterprise is up to 4 tons of products per month. But we are aimed at increasing volumes and expanding the product line. We have confidence in the future, as there is strong help from the state behind us. ”
