Agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory, which specialize in breeding animal breeds, received significant financial support from the state in 2019.
We are talking about subsidies in the amount of four hundred three million two hundred thousand rubles.
Such information was shared with the general public by representatives of the public relations department at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory. The ministry stressed that four dozen pedigree farms in the region received subsidies from the government of the Russian Federation and the Stavropol Territory.
As noted by Sergei Izmalkov, who is the deputy head of the Stavropol Ministry of Agriculture, at the moment, the region is actively working to increase the number of pedigree young animals.
To purchase these individuals from the federal budget will be allocated over one hundred eighty million rubles. Another fifty-five million will be allocated to cover the costs of wool production. And at least eighteen million rubles will be spent to increase the number of individuals in the breeding stock of goats and sheep.
Today, money from the state authorities is being conveyed to the recipients as compensation for professional expenses.
It will not be superfluous to note that twenty-four million two hundred thousand rubles were allocated to the Stavropol agrarians from the regional budget, and three hundred seventy-nine million rubles came from the federal fund.
