Before harvesting cabbage is often affected by vascular bacteriosis and mucous bacteriosis. The accumulation of infection in previous years increases the likelihood of an intensive spread of these diseases in Ukraine in 2019.

The incidence will be contributed by high relative humidity, an air temperature of 20-25 ° C, and damage to plants by pests such as aphids, cabbage flies and bedbugs.

If sharp changes in daily temperatures and increased air humidity are observed, cabbage can get overexposure. Such conditions are ideal for the life of the causative agent of this disease: development occurs quickly, the incubation period is reduced. In some areas of the country, other cabbage diseases, such as phomosis, alternariosis and fusarium wilt, are also expected to develop.

In the second half of the cabbage vegetation, in addition to infectious diseases, there may be a lack of nutrients and drying of plants. Earlier it was reported that white cabbage in Ukraine continues to grow in price. Over the year, she went up three times. Almost all cabbage presented on the Ukrainian market is grown domestically, as exporters almost do not purchase it abroad.
