The other day, in the process of drawing a direct line, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that agriculture in the state today is provided with tremendous support from the authorities.
According to the guarantor, it should be accepted that today the production of the lion's share of agricultural products falls on the enterprises of large agricultural corporations and manufacturers of goods. However, small forms of farming also deserve attention, Vladimir Putin is convinced.
The President emphasized that over the past few years, the pace of agricultural production in Russia has grown by almost forty-five percent. And it is unlikely that the peasants would be able to achieve such success, if not for the tangible financial support from the government.
In addition, Putin added that in 2018, representatives of the agro-industrial complex received more than two hundred and fifty billion rubles for the implementation of their priority needs.
This year, the amount of support has increased significantly - up to three hundred billion rubles. Almost half of this amount will cover the costs of large commodity producers for professional needs. Farmers account for sixteen percent of this amount.
This despite the fact that small farms occupied only twelve percent of the current Russian market. In other words, the volume of assistance is much higher than the share of farmers in the market.
Based on this, Vladimir Putin is convinced that the Russian authorities with their support significantly motivate farmers to increase the pace of agricultural production.
