This negatively affected the potato yield. This year, Carpathian farmers expect to receive a gross harvest of about 800 thousand tons of potatoes.
This will be enough to ensure the food security of the region with potatoes, said Ivan Andriyishin, director of the department of agricultural development of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration.
